South West Volkswagens Ltd specialises in Volkswagen Audi Group (VAG) vehicles that include – Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Volkswagen Cars, Audi Cars, Skoda Cars and Seat Cars. We also undertake repairs, servicing and MOTs on many other brands.
We are located on Pottington Business Park (Barnstaple, North Devon) and have been in business since 2014. South West VW’s Ltd was established by business partners and current directors Mr Ian Marchant and Mr Stephen Hart with the business goal of providing a professional modern garage with excellent customer service.
Our services include – diagnostics, annual servicing, timing belts, MOT’s, repair work, general maintenance, air conditioning, modifications, tyres, brakes, batteries, exhausts and much, much more. We look after all age ranges of cars right through to new registrations. We offer maintenance to brand specification, so can therefore carry out servicing on vehicles still under warranty, and in these situations always fit genuine VAG parts. We carry some stock items and have twice daily deliveries from Volkswagen.
We have a courtesy car available and offer lifts locally if pre-arranged. We offer some waiting appointments and have a showroom seating area for anyone wishing to wait on site. We are only a five minute walk from the Tarka Trail and the beautiful Taw Estuary if you wish to wander into Town.

Our team consists of three vehicle technicians and two front of house advisors. Our Vehicle technicians have over 30 years main dealer experience between them, plus many years technical experience before that, meaning there isn’t much they don’t know about the brand. Our front of house advisors also have a combined main dealer & motor trade experience of well over 30 Years. Our Advisors look after the customers front of house, from the first conversation and booking, to pre-ordering parts and a point of contact whilst your vehicle is with us.
